Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 9 September 2026 · booking-policy-2026-09-09

Earlier orders retain the terms accepted when they were placed. Terms of 7 August 2026

1. Introduction and Purpose

Welcome to Sensorica, an Immersive Interactive space located in Chișinău, Moldova, at 5 Tiraspol Street, inside the UNO shopping centre. The physical Sensorica space and its associated web platform are owned and operated by the legal entity Light Metaphor S.R.L (the Provider). Use of our website and services implies acceptance of these Terms & Conditions in accordance with Law no. 284/2004 on Electronic Commerce. Sensorica is a space designed to inspire creativity, curiosity and wonder through state-of-the-art technology, including interactive installations, projection mapping and sensory experiences. Our exhibitions blend art and technology to give visitors a unique opportunity to explore immersive stories and dynamic environments. This document describes the terms and conditions for visiting Sensorica. These rules are established to:

  • Ensure the safety of all visitors and staff.
  • Maintain the quality and integrity of our installations and exhibitions.
  • Provide a respectful, enjoyable and inclusive experience for everyone.

By purchasing a ticket and entering Sensorica, you agree to comply with these terms set by Light Metaphor S.R.L. Failure to comply may result in denial of access or removal from the premises without a refund. Sensorica is committed to creating a safe and engaging environment. If you have any questions or need assistance, our staff are at your disposal during your visit.

2. Tickets and Access

2.1. Ticket Purchasing Process

Tickets can be purchased:

  • Online, through the official Sensorica website, by reserving your preferred time slot.
  • Online, through authorised partners (where applicable).
  • On site, by cash or card.

2.2. Ticket Validity

The ticket is valid on the day booked, until Sensorica closes on that day, and permits a single entry. The maximum visit duration is 1 hour, counted from the moment you enter the space, not from the start of the booked time slot.

An ordinary ticket permits one entry on its booked day until Sensorica closes. Entry at the booked time has a 15-minute margin before or after; at another time that same day, entry is subject to available space. These entry conditions do not extend the refund deadline. Contact staff about another date: a change of date or reserved place is not guaranteed. Group bookings, private events and open-dated tickets have separate conditions.

Group bookings (15+ people) are an exception to the preceding paragraphs: the group is expected at the time booked, and its seats are held for that slot only. We recommend arriving about 10 minutes early so the whole group can enter together. To change the time, contact Sensorica in advance.

Tickets with no reserved time slot (gift tickets and vouchers) are also an exception: they are valid on any day Sensorica is open, until the validity date printed on the ticket, subject to available capacity.

2.3. Arrival Without a Purchased Ticket

Visitors who arrive on site without a purchased ticket are not guaranteed access. Access will depend on available capacity, and visitors may have to wait for the next available time slot.

2.4. Refund and Transfer Policies

A ticket is transferable: the entrance checks the QR code, not the holder's identity. You may pass it to another person without notifying Sensorica, subject to the ticket category's conditions. Transfer does not change the date, time, number of visitors or validity. A family ticket transfers as a whole. Any refund goes to the original payment method, not to the recipient of the transferred ticket.

For a paid, unused ordinary ticket, you may request a full refund of the amount actually paid for that ticket. Your request must reach us before the later of these two deadlines: 24 hours before the booked start and 24 hours after placing the order. In every case, the deadline ends no later than the booked start; a request received exactly at that time is outside the window. The 24 hours after placing the order runs from order creation and acceptance of the conditions at checkout. Retrying payment or receiving later payment confirmation does not restart it. Each visit's deadline is shown in your order in Chișinău time.

An order containing several visits has a separate deadline for each visit. Separate unused, eligible tickets can be refunded without cancelling the whole order. A family ticket is indivisible; there is no partial refund for family members who do not attend. Cancellation cannot leave an add-on valid where its conditions require a qualifying ticket that has been cancelled. The refund is the paid amount allocated to the cancelled tickets after discounts, not their undiscounted price.

Select the tickets and submit your request from the order page. You can also email info@sensorica.md with the order reference and the tickets for which you request a refund. The request's receipt time counts, not the time a staff member reads it. A prior phone call is not required. Receipt of a request does not confirm that a refund is complete. After eligibility is checked, the refund is made to the original payment method and we confirm the outcome. The request deadline is separate from processing and bank posting time.

2.5. Age Restrictions and Guidelines

Sensorica has no age restrictions for visitors. Children under 12 must be accompanied by an adult at all times to ensure their safety and the protection of the exhibitions.

3. Code of Conduct

To ensure a safe, enjoyable and respectful experience for all visitors, Sensorica requires compliance with the following Code of Conduct:

3.1. Expected Visitor Behaviour

Visitors are encouraged to explore and enjoy the Sensorica space while following all posted instructions and staff guidance. All interactive installations and exhibits must be used only in the manner indicated.

3.2. Prohibition of Disruptive Behaviour

Loud noises, running or any other behaviour that may disturb other visitors or disrupt the experience are strictly prohibited. Visitors must refrain from any actions that may damage the installations or compromise the safety of the location.

3.3. Guidelines for Interacting with the Installations

The interactive installations are designed to be used through specified methods, such as sensors or other indicated forms of interaction. Visitors must not touch, move or handle:

  • Projectors, speakers, sensors, cables or any other technical equipment installed at the location.
  • Non-interactive exhibit elements, unless explicitly permitted.

3.4. Respect for Other Visitors and Staff

All visitors must show respect and courtesy towards other guests and towards Sensorica staff. Any form of verbal or physical harassment, inappropriate behaviour or failure to follow staff instructions will not be tolerated.

3.5. Enforcement of the Code of Conduct

Sensorica reserves the right to ask any individual or group to leave the premises without a refund in the event of non-compliance with the Code of Conduct. These rules are established to protect visitors, staff and the installations.

4. Health and Safety

At Sensorica, the safety and well-being of visitors are top priorities. Please read the following health and safety policies before your visit:

4.1. Notice Regarding Sensory Effects

The Sensorica space uses strobe lights, intense projections, loud sounds and other sensory effects as part of the immersive experience. These effects may not be suitable for people with certain medical conditions, such as photosensitive epilepsy, vertigo or sensory sensitivities. Visitors are advised to assess their tolerance to these elements before taking part.

4.2. Recommendations for Visitors with Medical Conditions

If you have a medical condition that could be affected by sensory effects, consult a healthcare professional before visiting the Sensorica space. Visitors who experience discomfort during the visit must immediately alert a member of staff.

4.3. Emergency Procedures and Evacuation Plans

In the event of an emergency, visitors must follow staff instructions and move calmly towards the nearest designated exit.

5. Prohibited Items and Activities

To ensure the safety and comfort of all visitors, the following items and activities are prohibited on the Sensorica premises:

5.1. Prohibition of Food, Drinks, Smoking and Vaping

Consuming food and drinks is not permitted inside the space. Smoking, including the use of vaping devices or IQOS, is strictly prohibited.

5.2. Restrictions on Bags, Strollers and Sharp Objects

Large bags, strollers and sharp objects are not permitted in the exhibition areas for safety reasons. Visitors with small to medium-sized bags may use the designated storage area at the location. Sensorica is not responsible for items lost or stolen from the storage area; visitors are encouraged to secure their belongings.

5.3. Photography and Filming Guidelines

Photography and filming are permitted for personal use only, subject to the following rules: the use of flash is prohibited in order to protect the integrity of the exhibits and the comfort of other visitors. Equipment such as tripods or external lighting is not permitted without prior authorisation. Professional photography or filming is strictly prohibited during regular visits. Such activities must be booked separately by contacting the administration or using the support number available on the website.

6. Liability and Waiver

6.1. Waiver of Liability for Accidents or Injuries

Visitors are responsible for their own safety and must follow the rules and guidelines set out in this document. The Sensorica space is not responsible for accidents or injuries caused by non-compliance with the rules or by reckless behaviour.

6.2. Limitation of Liability for Sensory Effects

Sensorica exhibitions include lights, sounds and other sensory effects that may not be suitable for all visitors. The Sensorica space is not responsible for sensory overload, discomfort or medical reactions caused by these effects. Visitors with pre-existing conditions must assess their own suitability before entering.

6.3. Acceptance of Risks

The interactive installations are designed for safe use, but visitors acknowledge that participation involves inherent risks, including minor physical contact with other participants and unexpected sensory triggers. By entering the space, visitors accept these risks and undertake to follow all posted instructions and staff guidance in order to minimise any issues.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1. Copyright and Ownership

All content within Sensorica, including exhibitions, installations, projections, designs and audiovisual elements, is the exclusive property of Sensorica or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Visitors are not permitted to copy, reproduce, distribute or otherwise use any part of the exhibitions without Sensorica’s prior written consent.

7.2. Restrictions on Commercial Use

Photography and filming are permitted for personal use only. Any content captured within Sensorica may not be used for commercial purposes, including advertising, publication or resale, without explicit permission. Unauthorised commercial use of photographs, videos or recordings may result in legal action.

9. Cancellations, Rescheduling and Closures

9.1. Policy for Cancellations or Rescheduling

If Sensorica cancels or reschedules the visit, you may choose a full refund of the amount paid for the affected tickets regardless of the ordinary cancellation deadline. You do not have to accept another date or a voucher. These conditions do not limit mandatory rights under applicable law.

9.2. Right to Refuse Entry or Remove Visitors

Sensorica reserves the right to refuse entry or remove visitors from the premises without a refund if they: violate the Code of Conduct (Section 3), engage in disruptive, unsafe or disrespectful behaviour, or refuse to follow staff instructions or posted rules.

By continuing to use Sensorica’s services after such changes, visitors acknowledge and accept the updated Terms & Conditions.

Changes to ticket cancellation and pricing policies apply only to new orders placed after the new version takes effect. Existing orders retain the conditions recorded when they were placed and any individual offers already granted. Continued use of the website or a payment retry does not change those conditions for an existing order.
